Dia:Beacon
The experience

Just an 80-minute train ride from Grand Central Terminal, you'll discover one of the jewels of the Hudson River Valley, Dia:Beacon. The home for Dia Art Foundation's distinguished collection of art from the 1960s to the present, Dia:Beacon occupies the former historic Nabisco factory in Beacon, New York, now a renovated museum that includes works by some of the most significant artists of the last half century. With over 240,000 square feet of naturally lit exhibition space, Dia:Beacon's expansive galleries are on a scale of which other museums can only dream. In addition to its renowned collection, the museum presents temporary exhibitions and diverse public and education programs.
