One Person Train Operation (OPTO)

Some subway routes feature OPTO, which stands for One Person Train Operation.  OPTO means that the train operator opens and closes the doors, drives the train, makes announcements, and helps customers.  OPTO currently runs on the G and M lines, weekends only, and on the Dyre Av  Shuttle 5, the Rockaway Park Shuttle S the Lefferts Shuttle A and the Franklin Shuttle S.
